What Data We Collect
OptimizeMyShop collects the following information from users who authorize our application:
- Etsy listing data: Titles, descriptions, tags, and images from listings you explicitly authorize us to access.
- Shop information: Shop name, listing count, and review count (public information).
- Email address: Provided when you request a free audit or purchase our service.
We do not collect buyer email addresses, transaction data, or payment information.
How We Use Your Data
- To generate SEO-optimized listing recommendations (titles, descriptions, tags)
- To deliver your optimization report via email
- To improve our AI models (anonymized, no personal identifiers)
Data Retention
Listing data is stored temporarily to generate your optimization report. All listing data is automatically deleted from our systems 30 days after delivery.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We use:
- OpenAI (ChatGPT API) to generate optimization recommendations
- Google Drive to store delivered reports
- GoHighLevel to manage customer communications and payments
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for your optimization.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@optimizemyshop.com. We will respond within 30 days.
